Investigation: Mubarak responsible for civilian deaths

An official Egyptian probe into the uprising that toppled President Hosni Mubarak holds the former leader responsible for hundreds of civilian deaths and concludes that policemen used excessive force against protesters. 

The report, published by Egypt's state news agency MENA, conveyed the number of deaths in the events leading to the revolution amounted to 864 people. Number of injuries reached 6,467 until 16 February. 26 officers and policemen killed during the period from 25 January until 9 February.
