Authorities trying to get some positive points, banks not satisfied

Commercial banks are not happy about proposal by Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic over introduction of 24-month grace period for all long-term credits to population. This especially refers to credits for flats where installment after expiration of the grace period would be higher by several tens of EUR. However, nobody knows what the value of EUR at that time shall be or what the future of enterprises at which clients are working will be. After meeting of the Prime Minister with representatives of ten largest banks, bankers started preparing proposals which are to be definitely agreed at tomorrow?s meeting at the Association of Banks of Serbia.
