More deaths in Homs as Arab monitors arrive

The General Authority of the Syrian Revolution announced Tuesday noon that eight people were so far shot dead by the Syrian army, mostly in the city of Homs. In addition, there are reports that the Syrian army started to withdraw its tanks from the district of Baba Amr in the city as Arab observers were heading to the city.

The team of the Arab observers is led by General Mohammad Ahmed Mustafa. They were to hold meeting with the governor of the city before touring the areas of tension.
