Several thousand people rallied peacefully in several Moroccan cities on Sunday demanding political reforms and limits on the powers of King Mohammed VI. More than 2,000 people took to the streets of the capital Rabat, shouting: "The people want change."
In Casablanca, over 1,000 people demanded: "Freedom, dignity, justice," AFP reported. Demonstrations were held in other cities across the kingdom, including the port of Tangier.
